It all started about 70 years ago, I slept on a Murphy bed when I was seven and I have always thought they were a good idea. Back when I was a kid, apartments were really small and so were houses. In fact, apartment designers in those days would design around the Murphy bed. It wasn’t unusual for every apartment to have one designed into the living room.
As we all know, history is repeating itself, houses, apartments and condos are getting smaller and smaller. On top of that, prices have gone up. Therefore, space is a premium and that space is expensive.
